群衆の鼓動 The heartbeat of the crowd （2017）
H600×W600×D100
polyester,sewing thread
伸縮性のあるポリエステル布と染織の絞り技法を使い、ソフトスカルプチャーを制作しました。隆起し、うねった形は生地の特徴を生かし、布のたるみと張力によって絞り一本一本が立つことで立体的な形を構成しています。
円パネルを使用することで布の特徴である柔らかな伸縮性をさらに引き出すことが可能になりました。作品からは絞りがまるで鼓動しているように生命感を持ち、この円の中を蠢き循環しているようです。
