「視点を変えることで、イメージが持つ意味や認識が変化すること。」を一貫したテーマに作品を制作。
大江の作品には体操服を着た少年がたびたび登場し、それらと髑髏 ( どくろ ) や鶏頭、昆虫といった異質なモチー フをコラージュ的に組み合わせ、固有の文脈から切り離した状態にし、新たなイメージへと転換させる。
既存の物事を様々な角度から捉え直し、それらを接続させる事で、新たな関係性や尺度を生み出そうとする大江 の作品は、鑑賞者それぞれの自由な解釈を可能とし、想像力を掻き立てる。
今作は2018年にTEZUKAYAMA GALLERY(大阪)での個展「ボーズ ボーンズ ボーン」に出展された作品。
