The autonomous emergence of invisible things
In production, we avoid “action” and place importance on “a state where we don't know what will appear.”
I feel like I'm looking into a cross-section of the world's spinal cord in round slices using a means called painting, in search of “the moment when things that are supposed to be invisible appear autonomously on the screen in one fell swoop.” This surprising experience of being overwhelmed by “something invisible to the eye but definitely there” is the driving force behind the production.
