Work Details
This is the second sculpture with the concept of “Portrait In Sculpture.” A portrait sculpture of a sculptor with the motif of a photograph shown together with the sculptor's own work. The sculptures that were made remain, and the sculptor disappears. A portrait of existence and extinction living together.
This film is based on a work by Henri Cartier-Bresson, who shot Alberto Giacometti. Giacometti is walking around with her works in both hands while preparing for her solo exhibition.

Sculptor
Born in 1988. Lives and works in Tokyo and Chiba.
I mainly produce the “Spirit (= Sculptor)” series, which has the concept of “Portrait In Sculpture,” based on photographs of sculptors, and the “Torusô” series, which plants the history of sculpture in ready-made pots.
