Work Details
EnterWe are the universe.
The energy that fills everything, that too is your infinity. The theme is "emptiness" (Ku) from Mahayana Buddhism. Inspired by the Huayan school's concept of "one is many, many is one," it expresses the dynamic way in which the universe and energy are born from emptiness (Ku), while simultaneously everything is encompassed within it. This work is generative art created by an extremely short programming code that arithmetically depicts the scene.
In addition to a philosophical approach to infinity, it also incorporates a technical approach to infinity.

Production method
The code, which embedded in the art, runs on the GLSL editor "https://twigl.app". While the theme is about "emptiness" (Ku), there is a fundamental question underlying it, which is an exploration of the simulation hypothesis. We consider that the world we perceive might exist within programming, and that scenery and patterns might have characteristics that can be seen in programming (such as seashells, galaxies, etc.). Therefore, it's important to see if we can describe such a world with code that is as condensed as possible (rather than executing it with redundant and rich programming), which is why we've adopted a short code environment.
