the day you went away

Every piece of clothing holds its own unique memories etched over time. This second-hand black trench coat, too, once belonged to someone with a captivating presence. Perhaps it was worn by a young woman stepping into a new chapter of her life, or by one saying a poignant farewell to a loved one. The fabric seems to faintly reveal her silhouette as she looks back. Through this work, I hope to evoke in viewers an appreciation for the delicate and precious memories embedded in our everyday lives and to invite them to uncover the profound stories hidden within each detail.
