In this new work “Fountain,” a connection test is performed to the distribution source site of the material data used, and when communication is established, the material is generated from within the black sea. The approximately 350 types of assets are like portraits, so to speak, selected by the artist. In this work, which is generated in real time rather than images, materials will continue to be generated as long as infrastructure such as electricity, internet communication, and online platforms function. However, if any one of them is cut off, generation stops immediately. Data that we think we can handle innocently is also a finite resource, and these days there is a demand for more severe use. There is even a possibility that in 10 years nothing will spring out of this spring.
