As Long As The Night Lasts - The Blue Hours

When I am in trouble, sometimes I'm told it may be a good idea to look up at the sky.

Because the heaviness inside of me comes to be slightly lighter.

Perhaps it was from this feeling that people long time ago chose the character ”空”, means emptiness in Chinese for “sora”, means the sky in Japanese.

The sky tells me how vast the world is, as well as how tiny and how temporary being I am is.

And it also tells that we humans are just the beings thrown into this relative time space, living in a time just goes like wind or which can be neverending-ish.

I will now bring the sky's effect into our living space as the sculptural light, even after the sunset, as long as the night lasts.

Like As Long As The Night Lasts, this piece is GPS-synchronized: it lights up at sunset, gradually dims from one side as the night deepens, and fully turns off at sunrise.

It also features an optional "Always On" mode and adjustable brightness. Rechargeable via USB Type-C, it can remain continuously lit for up to 12 hours at maximum brightness.

The back of the piece is engraved with its title, the artist’s name, and the year of production.

It ships in a dedicated storage box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a USB cable.

The work can be hung on a wall or placed directly.
