Born in 1975 in Kyoto. Currently reside in Yame, Fukuoka. I work as an artisan for an important intangible cultural property of the country. Although I am mainly a traditional craftsman,my goal is to be in a world of art. I work as a sculptor, karakurist, dyer, and artist, and also restores arts and crafts and cultural properties by making full use of techniques such as maki-e, spiraling, and inlay. I have also received many awards overseas as a professional photographer.

日本を象徴する桜、その山桜の間伐材を使用し一本の刃物のみで彫刻しています。自然なひび割れが、唯一無二な作品にさらなる個性を与えています。角と牙は鹿角、爪は水牛の角、髭は山羊の角を使用、仕上げは漆です。箱書きの書も自らデザインし書き上げています。
