作品详情

Photo from “HOW MANY DAYS? (2023)”. After the fourth state of emergency was lifted, I wanted to go somewhere out of town. The emerald green waters of Nanakura Dam, caused by the Tyndall phenomenon, reminded me of Usorisanko-lake located on the top of Osorezan mountain in Aomori. The mountain is known as a sacred place where the souls of the dead return. The dam is also associated with the death of life. Fascinating and terrifying, the end of the world may look like this.
