Concept and Intention of the Artwork
This work is based on the motif of roots. The primary material is kimono fabric donated by various people.
I am inspired by the way roots grow deep underground, bending and adapting as they encounter hard stones along the way. Through this image, I express a quiet hope for living by accepting the many things we encounter in life.
