《36の挨拶｜36 greetings》

小説家の朝吹真理子は、2009年、「流跡」でデビューし、2011年、「きことわ」で第144回芥川賞を受賞しました。2012～14年には、国東半島アートプロジェクトにて発表された飴屋法水（演出・美術）による演劇「いりくちでくち」のテキストを担当し、共同制作を行っています。

「石巻、牡鹿半島におじゃまするとしたら、道の時間にご挨拶をすることしかできないのではないかなと思っています。春から夏にかけての石巻におじゃまして、道の時間、人や人でないもの、日和山上の発電機の電気鳥、イオン蛇田店のフードコート、海洋生物、お鯨さま、石巻を漂った時間を書いています」（朝吹真理子）

Mariko Asabuki is a novelist who won the 144th Akutagawa Prize.

“I thought if I were to visit Ishinomaki and the Oshika Peninsula, all I could do would be to extend my most cordial greetings to the time spent on the road. While talking with Kanji Yumisashi, who was traveling with me, we decided to collaborate on this project. We visited Ishinomaki from spring to summer, and I am writing the time on the road, the human and nonhuman, the birds on a generator atop Mount Hiyori, the food court at the Aeon Hebita store, marine lives, the sacred whales, and the time we drifted through Ishinomaki.” (Mariko Asabuki)
