1994年福岡県生まれ。2017年九州産業大学芸術学部卒業。福岡在住。インターネットや画像をモチーフとして、現代における風景とは何かという問いを軸に制作を行う。SNSやスマートフォン、ゲーム、Googleマップなどの視覚体験を参照し、Photoshop的な筆致や16:9の画面比率を取り入れた絵画を展開。風景を自己と外部の関係性から立ち上がるものと捉え直すような絵画作品を展開。 主な展覧会に、「掲示：智能手机ヨリ横浜仮囲之図」（2022年、横浜美術館）、「終わるまで終わらないよ」（2019年、熊本市現代美術館）、「ParaScape」（2024年、Contemporary HEIS）、「浦川大志個展 スプリット・アイランド」（2026年、福岡市美術館）ほか。 主なパブリック・コレクションに、福岡市美術館、熊本市現代美術館、横浜美術館、大原美術館ほか。第25回VOCA展大原美術館賞受賞。その他個展、グループ展多数。
