演ずる造形

"制御できない現象との共演"をテーマに制作しました。

パフォーマンスの終盤、6つの球は衝突を繰り返しながらも、絡まることなく交わり続けます。緊急事態宣言の最中、新型コロナウィルスのことを無視して制作することはできませんでした。コントロールできないものとどう向き合えばいいのか、コロナを通じて私が作品で示せる態度とは何なのか。様々な試行錯誤を経て、衝突することを受け入れながら、制御不能なものと共演するパフォーマンスへと発展していきました。衝突した後に元の軌道へと緩やかに戻り、そしてまた新たな衝突が起こる。その連続が持続するように調整を繰り返しました。タイトル「演ずる造形」には、この球の動きから、様々な物事へと想像が繋がるようにと思いを込めています。このパフォーマンスは何を演じているのか。そのような視点でご覧頂けたら嬉しいです。

I made it with the theme of "co-starring with an uncontrollable phenomenon".At the end of the performance, the six balls continue to intersect without getting entangled, even though they repeatedly collide.During the state of emergency, it was not possible to ignore the new Covid virus.How do I deal with things that I can't control, and what is the attitude I can show in my work through Covid?Through various trials and errors, it has evolved into a performance that co-stars with something out of control while accepting collisions.After the collision, it slowly returns to its original orbit, and another collision occurs. The adjustment was repeated so that the continuation would continue.
