Born in 1975 in Kyoto. Currently reside in Yame, Fukuoka. I work as an artisan for an important intangible cultural property of the country. Although I am mainly a traditional craftsman,my goal is to be in a world of art. I work as a sculptor, karakurist, dyer, and artist, and also restores arts and crafts and cultural properties by making full use of techniques such as maki-e, spiraling, and inlay.
