私たちの生活は、人類が生み出したテクノロジーによって豊かになった一方で、地球という完璧なエコシステムに綻びを生じさせている。テクノロジーと自然が調和した美しい未来か、それともテクノロジーに縛られた未来か。私たちは今、未来を選ぶ分岐点に立っている。
「テクノロジーと自然の共存」「次の世代に伝える正しい自然との関わり方」をテーマに、商品・アート・音楽・映像などを組み合わせた空間を通じて、地球環境への意識と行動の変化を促す。プリミティブでシンプルなライフスタイルを提案し、地球への負荷を減らしながら暮らすためのきっかけを提供する。
Our lives have been enriched by the technologies created by humankind, yet at the same time, they have caused cracks in the perfect ecosystem of the Earth. Will the future be a beautiful one in which technology and nature exist in harmony, or one in which we are constrained by technology? We now stand at a turning point where we must choose the future.
THE NORTH FACE ALTER is a shop built around the themes of “the coexistence of technology and nature” and “the right way of engaging with nature to pass on to the next generation.” Through a space that combines products, art, music, and visual imagery, it encourages changes in awareness and behavior toward the global environment. By proposing a primitive and simple lifestyle, it offers an opportunity to live in a way that reduces the burden on the Earth.
