渋谷の路上や駅などで出くわした出来事とその時に入手したモノを素材に制作した作品シリーズ。

This is a series created with occurrences and items collected from the streets and the train station of Shibuya.

友人と渋谷の居酒屋に入った。店内の壁にはテレビが取り付けられていて、動物番組が大音量で流れていた。テーブルの真正面にテレビがあったので、私たちは何となくその番組を見ていた。番組の内容は、厳しい自然環境の中、つがいで生きる動物たちの姿を描いたものだった。「つがいになるという選択は、野生で生き抜く知恵である」というナレーションが流れると、友人は、「こういうのって見ちゃうよね」と言った。そして、私が路上で拾い集めたモノをテーブルの上で並び替えると、「つがい」と言って笑った。客の誰かがテレビのリモコンを操作したらしく、チャンネルが立て続けに変わり、情報番組に変わった。テレビでは不倫をした芸能人が多くの報道陣の前で、謝罪している様子が大音量で流れ始めた。友人は、「こういうのも見ちゃいますな」と言った。渋谷で生き抜く3つのつがい。

I went to an izakaya in Shibuya with my friend.There was a TV on the wall, and a program about animals was being shown at a high volume. Our table was right in front of the TV, so we ended up watching the program.The program depicted how animals pair up in order to survive in harsh natural environments. Upon hearing the narration, “The choice to pair up is wisdom for survival in the wild,” my friend said, “This is something I always find myself watching.”When my friend saw me arranging the things I had picked up from the streets on the table, he said, “Pairs,” and laughed.Some other customers took hold of the remote control and the channel kept being changed, ultimately to a variety news program.Footage of a celebrity apologizing for infidelity in front numerous members of the press began playing at a high volume.My friend said, “This is also something I always find myself watching.”Three pairs for surviving Shibuya.
