Day with Night

Zelan is exploring the fusion of two different things as one of her production themes.

The contrast between the color surface with a slight greenish, silvery luster and the vivid fluorescent yellow band creates a mysterious image that seems to symbolize the boundary or coexistence of “day and night.”

Tree shaped silhouette and fragmentary characters also gently invite viewer's memories and emotions to wander.

This work is a collage of a transparent film with an image applied with pigment ink on top of a hand-drawn picture using pastel or acrylic paint.

The work is offered as multiple (edition works), and you can enjoy the multi-layered texture unique to mixed media works handmade one by one.

Framed on a simple wooden frame, ready to hang.
