このテーマは思い入れが強く、この後、何度か描いている作品です。

思っている事を真っ直ぐ伝えた小さな一言が、取り巻く世界を変えると実感した体験を絵にしました。

僕は20歳位からデザイナーとして、時にイラストレーターとして仕事をするようになりました。

友人からの依頼や相談に応えているうちに徐々に出来ることも増え、比例して仕事も増えていきました。

デザイナーという仕事は人の思いやイメージを整理して形にする面白い仕事で、とてもやりがいがあります。

ただ、どこかで自分の思いやイメージを形にした作品づくりがしたいと思っていました。

しかし、なかなかそれが実現出来なかったのはシンプルに考えると勇気が無かったからだと感じています。色々理由を付け、自分で自分にストップをかけてしまっていました。

そして、そのうち仕事に追われ、自分の表現や本心から遠ざかってしまい、どこか煮え切らない日々を送っていました。

ある時、勇気を出して自分の思うことを真っ直ぐ伝えた時、とても良い言葉を貰いました。

その瞬間、くすんだように感じていた人生に彩りが戻った様に感じました。

勇気を出して発した真っ直ぐな思いや行動は、時に一瞬でその人の世界を変えてしまう力があるんだと思います。

This theme is very dear to my heart, and I have painted this work several times since then.

I drew this picture based on my experience of realizing that a small word straight from the heart can change the world around us.

I started working as a designer and sometimes as an illustrator when I was about 20 years old.

As I responded to requests and consultations from friends, I was gradually able to do more and more, and my work increased in proportion.

Being a designer is an interesting and rewarding job that involves organizing and giving shape to people's thoughts and images.

However, somewhere in the back of my mind, I knew that I wanted to create a work of art that gave shape to my thoughts and images.

But I feel that the reason why I couldn't make it happen was that I simply didn't have the courage.

I gave myself a lot of reasons and put a stop to myself.

Eventually, I got so caught up in my work that I drifted away from expressing myself and my true feelings, leading to a somewhat unfulfilling life.

One day, when I plucked up the courage to tell him straight out what I thought, he gave me some very good words.

In that moment, I felt as if my life, which had previously felt dull, had regained its color.

I believe that a straightforward thought or action that is courageously expressed sometimes has the power to change a person's world in an instant.

Orecho=オレチョとは？

本多 孝男による複数の作品シリーズをシンボル化、融合することで誕生したキャラクター。

「オレチョ」は作家の自己を投影した表現者として作品に登場している。名前の由来は"己"を"超"えるより。

"Orecho" is appeared in artworks as an expresser who projects himself.

The origin of the name comes from "I want always overcome myself". In Japanese mean Ore=myself, cho=overcome.
