藤野が2019年の瀬戸内国際芸術祭で発表した絵画作品は、古い家屋にその記憶と命を蘇らせるために描いたものだった。藤野は、絵の中に他者の物語を映し出す。鑑賞者は、過ぎ去った時間の記憶、そこに確かに存在したものの余韻や感触を未知の他者と共有することができる。廃屋や空き家、作品が置かれる場所がどこであっても、彼女の作品は過去と現在を繋ぎ、さらに未来までも感じさせてくれるのだ。

The painting that Fujino exhibited at the Setouchi Triennale 2019, was painted to resurrect the life and memories of an old house. Fujino projects stories of others in her paintings. The viewer can share the memories of a past time, lingering notes and sensations of the things that existed there, with an unknown other. Abandoned or empty houses, wherever it is that her works are exhibited, they connect the past to the present, and even give us a sense of the future.
