モノカタリ (学生CGコンテスト MAT賞)

「モノカタリ」は忘れ去られた処理としての生活の記憶から、実体験と少しだけリンクするフィクションを作り出すことで、もしかしたら自分が経験していたのかもしれない物語を出力する装置です。 生きている中で「確かに経験した」と記憶する出来事はどれほどでしょうか。

私達を取り巻く環境の爆発的な情報増加に伴って、日常の些細なことを覚えている余裕はなくなってきています。とりわけレシートを受け取るときのような、何気ない生活の経験は「体験」というよりも「処理」のようなもので、代わり映えのなく面白みがないかもしれません。しかしそのレシートにはパーソナルなログデータが詰まっています。

「モノカタリ」は、この情報を元に、面白みが無かったとされていた瞬間を振り返って想像を掻き立てる、あなた自身のアナザーストーリーを描き出します。

“Mono Katari” is a device that outputs a story that you might have experienced by creating fiction that links a little with actual experience from the forgotten memory of our daily lives. How many events in your life you would remember? Having high amount of information in the environment around us, we can no longer afford to remember the trivial everyday things. A casual life experience, especially when you receive a cash register receipt, is more like a “process” than an “experience.,” and it doesn’t bring you any new surprises. But the receipt is full of personal log data. “Mono Katari” uses this information to draw your own another story that captures your imagination by looking back on an uninteresting moment.
