Work Details
The concept of the work
It is a work from the period when I was drawing pictures with the rule of “using flowers as motifs” for myself, and it is one of my favorite things. Tsurubo (Barnardia) is a Japanese plant, and although it is a small flower, the picture was drawn on a large canvas. Vases are real things. It has a scalloped shape, but this is a vase made by 3D scanning a glass bottle that was shrunken due to the effects of the bomb when the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki and arranging it in the same shape with Nagasaki soil.
