それは脳裏から言葉を排除し、非言語的なイメージ、無意識を抽出する瞑想的な時間です。
ペンを右手に持ち、真っ白な紙を眺めていると、奇妙な生き物の姿や不思議な光景がそこに浮かんできます。
その言語的に整理されていないビジョンに従って即興的に手を動かすと、時間の経過とともに絵が自生的に成長していきます。
ドローイングを開始した時点では、どのような作品が完成するのか私にも分かりません。
私にとって創作活動は、意識を現実から解離させ、脳の奥へ向かって深く潜っていく探究行為です。
