Work Details
This work reconstructs “Jean on a Four-Wheeler Horse” (Claude Monet, 1872, Metropolitan Museum of Art). I wanted them to cycle on a safe, fun, and refreshing summer day by changing their rocking horse to a dog or a four-wheeler, so I slowly descended while flushing Yuzu's “Natsuiro” with my head.

Born in Aichi in 1999. Completed Aichi Prefectural University of Art Graduate School of Fine Arts Master's Program in Oil Painting/Printmaking in 2025 I create with classical painting as a motif, and I focus on the gap that occurs between the original intention of the work and the impression I receive as a living in the present day, and create starting from this gap. The reason I create my work by focusing on gaps and misunderstandings is that I first want to affirm the misunderstandings and misunderstandings I feel in everyday life, and I want to convey that even if people's feelings and ways of thinking about society and events are slightly different from the facts, the feelings that develop at that time are irreplaceable and have value in themselves. I often misunderstand things, and sometimes misunderstand something. At such moments, I sometimes feel confused, but at the same time, I am made aware of the world and interpretations that only I can see. A casual sense of incongruity or misunderstanding is an entrance to a new perspective for me, and for me, looking at misunderstandings and misunderstandings is an act of accepting them through my own filter, affirming them, and sublimating them into my work. In other words, misunderstandings and misunderstandings are the driving force behind my creativity to live a positive life. Painter born in 1999.
