Work Details
This work is a reconstruction of “The Sack of Europe” (George Frederick Watts, circa 1894, canvas, oil paint, Walker Art Gallery collection). It's a scene where Zeus transforms into a pure white bull, captivates Europa, and takes him away, but Zeus is in a bit of trouble because it's more like a water bike rider than expected, and the atmosphere is different from what he had imagined.
