作品のコンセプト・制作意図
今作は東京という多種多様唯一無二の個性を見せる「街」を区画分けし切り貼りし重ね暈し多重層になった色に着目し形作った実験作品です。夥しい数の看板(コマーシャル)無秩序に乱立した商店、流動的な人の群れ、ふと我に帰るとなんてグロテスクな場所なんだと思いながらも美しいとも感じている事に気付く。進められて行く再開発はどこかで見た事のある商業施設やフランチャイズの店の入るどこかで見た事のあるビルが建ち並んでいた。それは私には灰色の世界に思えた。
