Work Details
Opsinupuri is a mountain in Nibutani, Hokkaido.
According to Ainu legends, there was a hole where Okikurumino Kamui shot an arrow at the mountain to compare his strength.
That hole still exists, and every year on the day of the summer solstice, the sun overlaps that hole and sets.
He shared Ainu culture that impressed him, and wrote down afterimages of fluid, undefined, and mysterious natural forms.
