Born in Iwate Prefecture in October 1998 Graduated from Tsukuba University Faculty of Art, Department of Painting, Printmaking in March 2021 Enrolled in Kyoto University of Art and Design Graduate School Global Seminar in February 2023 Selected as 5th generation Kuma Foundation Fellow in April 2021 Binary oppositions such as real and virtual, AI and human are converted into matter through mediums such as painting and sculpture. The evolution of human technology and science may expand our imagination. However, our bodies have not changed from the bodies of hunter-gatherers from tens of thousands of years ago. We now use smartphones as a matter of course, and we can easily share many images and information. That device, like our skin, feels as if it has always existed. Our desires promoted the development of reproduction technology. However, when those desires manifest in a different form, transcending the violence born from desire, we will return to universality as biological beings.
