キュンチョメの作品は、見終わった後にいつも独特の不快感が残る。それは、見てはいけないものを見てしまった、あるいは、見せられてしまったという不快感である。けれども、ただそれだけではない。不快感は、作品ではなく、むしろ知っていたのにこれまで知らなかったふりをしていた自分自身に対して向けられる。これまで部外者として傍観していた自分が不意に当事者の目に晒された時に感じる戸惑いといってもいいかもしれない。当事者と部外者、加害者と被害者、見る人と見られる人との関係を鋭く問い直すその作品は、鑑賞者も外側に留まることを許さないだろう。

An art unit consisting of Eri Honma and Nabuchi. Formed in response to the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, they view art as a "new form of prayer" and create poetic and humorous works around the world. Major exhibitions in recent years include “Roppongi Crossing 2022: OK coming and going!” (Mori Art Museum, Tokyo), there are “Current Location: To Draw a Map of the Future [1]” (21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa 2019), and “Aichi Triennale 2019” (Aichi).
