Concept

　We see what we want to see and believe what we want to believe. What was seen in the distance is not true.

One day, there was a couple at the movie theater. While buying popcorn, the couple is talking about keeping a movie ticket stub as a memory. However, I threw away the popcorn receipt I received. Why do they keep movie stubs and throw away the receipt they bought the popcorn for? Even though the incident where I bought popcorn is one page of an important date. I thought I could add new value to those receipts and recycle my memories. Receipts may be filled with memories that you take for granted and forget. I think this image of someone's piled up time and logs is making society difficult.

　Receipts are materials that cannot be recycled. Nationwide, about 54,000 tons of receipts are consumed per year. It is equivalent to 13.5 billion sheets of A4 size copy paper, and it also affects water pollution and deforestation. Isn't this proof that both resources and memory have been messed up? and it makes me feel frustrated.

　Receipts collected from all over Japan were used, and collages were applied with unique materials to prevent deterioration. The intention is that some day our life logs will remain as cultural materials decades after we run out of receipts.
