これは、まだ青い色の残る枯蓮は、ふとその大きさを変えて山となって戯れるかのようでした。あるいは逆に山々が、折り重なって枯れ蓮となっていたのかもしれないとも思えます。絵画というものが、そんなイメージの交錯する装置のようなものであればと考えています。
