About the work
The characteristic of my work is that I create many works where the way the work looks and colors change depending on the viewing angle and distance. As you move yourself, the way that target is changes.
The technique consistently uses silkscreen techniques. The image is printed directly by silkscreen on an acrylic plate (acrylic mirror, etc.) that has been mirrored. By reflecting the image printed on the surface on the mirror surface, it is possible to acquire a new image and create a new aspect of the work.
This work is one work in a series called “A View of Color.”

I create works with vision and sight as the main theme.
What do I watch because I keep creating? This is because the question that is difficult to grasp exists at the root of me.
Regarding the act of seeing, the moment we see an object, that object continues to exist within each one in the form in which it has been interpreted. Every day, many of them are incorporated into us at a tremendous speed, and we live our daily lives by acting intricately and changing, forgotten when not needed, and stored in a safe place.
The series of acts of seeing is for “that person,” including myself and others. I feel this is something special for that person who can't intervene. I have a feeling that I want to get even a little closer and capture this natural yet very strange and special “seeing,” so I am continuing production.
