Fall in the realms of Light

My body feels warm when I sleep, and similar to dreaming, I feel like I can see visions where time and space are distorted even when wrapped in hot springs. I especially felt it when I went to the “Snake Hot Spring” hot spring in Hinohara-mura, a suburb of Tokyo. The scenery outside the hot springs intertwined with the scenery in a dream in the past, and the Red Dragon (symbol of Satan) that appeared in a dream appeared outside the window. Satan had landed on earth and turned into a serpent from Hell. Also, there was a myth in “Snake Hot Spring” that it healed a wounded giant snake. In this way, the two stories that were delusional and intersected in the painting inspired me to create this work. I wonder if Satan, who is a rebel yet vulnerable, written in Milton's “Paradise Lost,” was healed for a moment here...
