Work Details
Darkness, for me, is a vast source of inspiration. It's not about the absence of light; it's about the depths. In the swamp, I see sanctity and divinity; that's what it's all about.
The canvas was created in darkness and framed by the sacred Ukrainian soil.

Batabams is an artist from Ukraine. After working as a graphic designer for TV channel, Uber and other companies in 2019 she has started her path as a fine artist. Her works are inspired by Ukrainian culture, symbolism and mythology. She unites and develops Ukrainian and old slavic symbolism, giving them a new modern glow. She regards each painting as a certain stage of her self-formation she went through these years. Each painting is a self-portrait, and her essence is an integral part of the composition.
