sculptor
Motoki Tanaka was born in 1990 in Tokyo. By eliminating the faces of human figures, anonymity in modern society is symbolized three-dimensionally, and the appearance, atmosphere, and impression of a person is created with the motif of “someone who is nobody.” Faces are like business cards and are an important factor in recognizing and identifying individuals. At the same time, faces are simply personal symbols, and without that symbol, they have a high degree of anonymity. Among them, a wide variety of attire exist to symbolize individuality, and the original appearance is clearly reflected. By eliminating the faces of human figures, anonymity in modern society is symbolized three-dimensionally, and the appearance, atmosphere, and impression of a person is created under the theme of “someone who is nobody.”
