作品のコンセプト・制作意図
ニューヨークのギャラリー「Montserrat Contemporary Art」による企画展示に向けて書いた新作です。
作品タイトルは『圓 Round』です。
この作品で表現したかったこと
「圓（円）」の持つ意味である”丸み”や”欠けていない”状態、そして力強くありつつも柔らかい包容力のある作品にしたいとイメージして書いたものです。
墨の色も茶墨を選んだので、柔らかい印象になっています。
強さと柔らかさを同居させる線を目指し、少し大きめの筆で一気に一筆で書き上げました。
内に秘めた「強さと優しさ」を感じて頂けると嬉しいです。
