■作品解説
瞑想をしている最中、目の前に現れた光景を描いた作品。
生命のエネルギーが寄り集まり、空に向かって高く高く伸びていく。
その大樹のような様はとても神々しく、尊くて震えるような光景だった。
見えたのがなぜ樹なのか？なぜこのような光景が見えるのか？
それは私の生涯をとして考えていく命題なのかもしれないが、
もしかしたら生き物が死んで肉体から離れたとき、このような光景が見えるのかもしれないと本能的に思った。
瞑想を通して感じた死生観を直感的に描いた作品。

個展「MEDITATION TRIP」は私が経験した瞑想体験を描いた作品展になります。
一般的に瞑想とは、感情を無にし精神を安定させ、リラックスする効果が認められていますが宗教における瞑想とは、内省による自己洞察、心や精霊といった目に見えない存在の認知、宇宙への一体感の感得、悟りによる智慧の完成、転生のサイクル輪廻を脱する解脱などとあります。
私も普段から瞑想を習慣にしていますが、一度だけ無我の状態になったことがあります。
無我の状態になると自分の感覚が広がっていき、豊かな情報で満たされ幸せな気持ちになるのですが、その状態が現実離れしすぎてどう処理していいか分からず頭が爆発しそうになってしまいました。
あのとき経験した感覚はなんだったのか。
信仰深い仏教徒でも、学者でも哲学者でもない自分がそれらを言語化するにはあまりにも説明が難しいので当時の瞑想で見た光景、感じた感覚を作品にしました。
この時の瞑想体験に限らず、この世界は解明されていない不思議がまだまだあります。
これから先の未来できっと、その不思議たちはゆっくり解明されていくでしょうがそれまではまず、自分の身近に起こる不思議な現象を表象し、世界の本質とは何だろうと思いを巡らせて行きたいです。

Born in Wakayama in 1990, lives in Tokyo. Artist activities will begin in 2021. From an early age, I have a phenomenon where undulating, transparent objects appear in my field of vision when concentrating on something, and I create works with the motif of “undulation” from a desire to pursue that mysterious identity. In particular, since they often appear in sight during meditation, “undulation” is used in the work to express the world view of meditation. That collective formed by “undulation” awakens a primitive sense in viewers and questions the way the world is and how it is perceived. As for his activities, he has vigorously presented his works at solo and group exhibitions, mainly in Japan, and has received many awards at domestic public exhibitions. Major exhibitions include Ishikawa Gallery (solo exhibition, 2022, Tokyo), 100 people 10 (open call exhibition, 2021, Tokyo), Art Stage OSAKA (art fair, 2022, Osaka), ART MOMENTS JAKARTA (art fair, 2022, Indonesia), and Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore Collectors Club (group exhibition, 2022, Tokyo).
