Work Details
I created an iron girl statue with the plastic characteristics of a two-dimensional “beautiful girl” by multiplying the history of the relationship between iron and humans with anime culture, and further capturing the act of “carving” as a self-generating process.
The underlying theme of this work is a question about humanity moving from the present to the future.

This work is the first work in the Iron Girl series. I created it little by little without even knowing how to proceed with the work. Halfway through, there was a time when production was stopped, but it is a work that I somehow finished making.
