Work Details

The theme of the work is “Freedom from Frameworks.”

I draw by mixing pigment with soap bubbles and spraying them.

Osmudges and overlaps created by chance are

It's a form of standing up beyond intention.

They appear when you let go of control

It is also a symbol of beauty and freedom.

Beyond the unconscious frame of “it should be like this,”

Proceed according to your own senses, not the expectations of others.

That small moment of liberation is included in the work.

Born in 1984 on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture. I was involved in plant cell research when I was in college, and I am strongly attracted to the appearance of round cells that look like they have been released from the cell wall as seen under a microscope. I began to think that I wanted to express that organic, soft form and uncontrollable fluctuations in life as paintings. Currently, it is produced using a unique technique of spraying soap bubbles onto canvas. Utilizing the form of chance that bubbles pop, ooze, and overlap, it depicts freedom between control and chance, inside and outside, between individuality and expanse, under the theme of “freeing the frame.” 2024 “ZEN Exhibition” Saitama Museum of Modern Art (Saitama) “ZEN Ginza Selected Exhibition” Ginza Daikokuya Gallery (Ginza) “Independent Tokyo 2024” Tokyo Port City Takeshiba (Takeshiba) “SHIBUYA ART MUSEUM 2024” SHIBUYA SACS (Shibuya) “AND LINK SELECTION VI” GALLERY AND LINKS 81 (Ginza) “MOVE ON ~Dynamic~” Soshare Digital Gallery (Shiodome) 2025 “KIZUNA EXHIBITION” GALLERY AND LINKS 81 (Ginza) “MOVE ON ~ Dynamic ~” Park Tokyo Hotel (Shiodome) “AbstrAction1 2025” Gallery Art Point (Ginza) “Core 2025: Resonating Art-” Gallery And Links 81 (Ginza) 3-Person Exhibition “86400” Lotus Gallery (Ebisu) Solo exhibition “Free From Frames” Gallery And Links 81 (Ginza) “Independent Tokyo 2024” Tokyo Port City Takeshiba (Takeshiba) Solo exhibition “Free From Frames” Bacchus Gallery Bun (Daikanyama) 2026 In-store display izacafe (Kameido) “Preface I2026” Gallery Art Point (Ginza) “ONE ART Taipei2026” Hotel Metropolitan (Taiwan) “Core 2026” Gallery And Links 81 (Ginza) Awards “ZEN Exhibition” received the “Saitama Prefectural Museum of Modern Art” committee award “Blue Exhibition” and “410 Gallery” won the 410 Gallery Award
