映画・映像芸術を中心にこれまで活躍してきたが、近年は絵画制作にも領域を広げている。僕にとって描くことは言葉を使わずに考えることであり、言葉では届かない世界や生命の在りようを思索する一つの方便である。特に、近年人類学の分野で言われている多自然主義やアニミズム、華厳経などの影響を強く受けている。無意識と意識の対決、あるいは無意識の律動が方法論の背景にある。
