Work Details
私は都市で目にする風景をモチーフに、人間が創造するものの混沌とした様相や、人々が繰り返してきた行為から生まれる力強さや希望を、鋳造技法を用い表現している。
常に動き続けていることが当たり前だと思っていた都市活動が、コロナ禍でほぼ全世界同時に止まる、麻痺する感覚を初めて味わい、改めて人間が構築してきたものの脆さや儚さ、喪失感を感じ、社会が抱える課題や世相について、そして何より“生きる“という事をより考えるようになった。
そして普段気にも留めていなかった、人間の混乱とは全く無縁の身の回りにある自然に目を向けるきっかけにもなった。
この作品は自分なりの[自然]を表現した作品である。
