About the “P.S.” series
There is a motif I've been conscious of for a long time called a letter.
Furthermore, the “postscript” part, like “oh yeah, just one last word.” It's unbearable to decipher the exudate personality that was dared to be added with one stroke.
A letter written on Thursday night saying that if it's over a day, it's the weekend. This is an image of just one person's message, which could not be written in that text.
Part of the circle marked with gold leaf acts like a postmark for mail sent from above the second moon (fictional world I draw). Part of the emblem that is always stamped. The motifs are planetary outlines and orbits.
Also, the amount used in this series is my favorite small amount that I have been buying little by little for the past 10 years or so. This is likened to a treasure chest and contains important cards.
Washi with textile affixed, gold leaf, alkyd resin, washi, mineral pigments
Wall hanging parts are screwed to the back of the frame. Also, parts that can be used when propping up are included in the work box.
The vertical composition is the main one, and the metal fittings are attached, but the horizontal composition is also a good work.

Artist
Contemporary Japanese-Style Painting
Naomi Nishizawa creates “The Tale of the Second Moon,” a narrative born from her unique imagination.
She is a contemporary artist celebrated for her radiant and intricate compositions employing gold and metallic leaf. Rooted in the traditions of Japanese painting, she fuses diverse materials such as handmade washi paper, oil-based resin, and phosphorescent pigments to create a singular visual world.
Within her semi-abstract works, quiet imagined scenes are gently interwoven. These softly spun visions evoke moments from fairy tales and mythology, inviting viewers into a poetic narrative realm. Shimmering, reflective, and glowing materials function not only as decorative elements but also as gateways to dreamlike, multilayered worlds.
Since 2019, Nishizawa has exhibited in Japan and internationally, including Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Jakarta, steadily expanding her global recognition and acclaim. She was born in Tokyo, where she lives and works.
