Work Details

This installation expresses how the world is from dusk to dawn and shows the distinct difference from daytime.

I thought about the “night” in life. Unlike the daytime world, where everything is covered with light and all that can be seen is considered real, the night is a precious time that allows us to contemplate the invisible. We may think about what we cannot see because we cannot see it. In the darkness, we can recognize the beauty of a tiny light by keeping our eyes fixed on it. Compared with the busyness and noise that surrounds us during the day, the night provides us with a comforting silence that we hear when we close our eyes and listen carefully. These are an essential part of life.
