地表の約70%を占め、未だなお多くの謎が残されている海。それは地球の循環機能であり、生命の故郷であり、人類を冒険へかり立たせ、創造力や物語の原動となり、心と向き合う場所となってきました。
私たちは海の何に動かされてきたのだろうか。そんなことをいつも考えています。海を中心にして起こる価値変化・循環・交換の過程で「美」が見えてくると感じ、この作品をつくりました。

I am Hiroshi Kaki, an abstract painter from Oita Prefecture. My work focuses on the feelings and thoughts we experience when confronting phenomena found in nature—cycles, irregular patterns, and unpredictable movements. I prioritize the process, completing pieces while engaging in dialogue with natural forces like the way sunlight falls or water flows. Through my work, I hope to deepen our connection with nature, savor the flow of all things, and bring joy to everyday life. I would be happy if my pieces not only offer daily healing and vitality but also help viewers notice the subtle wonders within their ordinary routines. Nothing in particular.
