Work Details
Concept and production intention of the work
It is a work that reconstructs the utopia, Togenkyo depicted in landscape paintings, as an institutional city.
It depicts a future landscape where nature and machines coexist, with towers, floating structures, and rail transit stretching between mountains where cherry blossoms bloom.
While being aware of the white space in ink painting and Japanese painting, the pale pink color and blue green were layered, and a sense of life and the heartbeat of the city were embedded in the tranquility.
It is a work based on the theme of “Future Taoyuan,” which combines admiration for classical landscape and fantasy for future cities.
