Work Details

Concept and Intention of the Artwork

A fruit that appeared in a dream. I was almost ready to eat it in a little while. After a while after waking up, the images in my memory begin to blur.

What You Want to Express Through the artwork

The goal is to express ambiguous images in dreams while remaining vague. Wool felt is used to hold the ephemeral form like smoke in a definite shape.

Production Methods and Tools

The polystyrene block is carved in the shape of an apple, and a needle is used to fix the felt.

sculptor

I use wool felt to create blurry sculptures.
The theme is to sculpt vague and hard to grasp motifs (for example, images in dreams, scenes in distant memories, things without a fixed shape, such as smoke, etc.) while remaining ambiguous.
