Mineral pigments on Japanese paper

Thoughts on the Artwork and Title

I started drawing from a mysterious creature shape that came into view when I dripped white paint (powder) on it. Originally, legs were also drawn, but by finally hiding them, the balance of the screen was perfectly adjusted. The “buzz” around the mouth was not intended, and it is an element that was inevitably added during the drawing process.

It depicts creatures and landscapes that appear on the border between reality and fantasy. Centering on Japanese painting, I am trying to establish ways of looking at things and relationships as paintings while selecting materials and techniques most suitable for the work.
