Work Details
彼女の作品をはじめて見たのは、グループ展でのこと。ギャラリーの奥まったところに展示されていたそのペインティングは、白い空間に大きな窓をつくりだし心地よい風とともに私を外へ連れ出してくれた。物語の始まりなのか、終わりなのか。どこかの国のような、空想の街。童話の1ページと記憶の中の1シーンが交わっていく。大自然の壮大な景色の一端に、近所の風景を重ね合わせる。絵の前に立ち、時間や空間を行き来しながら、想像を自由に膨らませる。そんな時間の贅沢さや尊さ、愉しさに改めて気づかせてくれる作品だ。しかしもちろん、それだけではない。巷に溢れる情報や風潮に踊らされることなく突き進んでいこうとする力強さや逞しさが、彼女の絵には宿っている。それはきっと、愛する音楽やカルチャー、旅先での出来事を作品の養分としながらも、社会や表現に対する彼女の毅然としたアティチュードが制作の動力になっているからだと思う。

2007年 東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程絵画科木版専攻修了 2005年 東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科油画専攻卒業 私は旅先で見た風景や、日常生活で出会う物語からインスピレーションを受けて作品を制作しています。俯瞰して見る大きな時代の流れと、一つ一つ小さな個の物語。そのような世界で起きている無数の出来事をシャッフルし、画面の中の舞台上で見せる事で未来の展望と様々な感情を内包した世界を表現します。それらの絵画は作家の好奇心の産物であり、可能性の物語と無限の世界を夢想することができる錬金術のようなものだと感じています。 I do my artwork based on inspirations from scenes during my travels and stories from our everyday life. A broad view of the flow of times and on the other side, our everyday stories. I express a world of our future and my emotions by shuffling these infinite events and showing them onstage on a screen.
