湘南周辺の風景を描いた油彩によるドローイング作品。 湘南は海や緑が豊かで、閑静な住宅地が広がるとても良いロケーションだと感じます。その風景を切りとり、単純化し、油絵の具の質感に変換し作品化して標本箱をイメージしたフレームに収めました。個々の風景はキャンバスでは無く板に描かれているため、絵画という枠から抜け出し絵の具の質感や色彩を純粋に楽しむ事が出来ると思います。

私は油彩をメインに作品を制作しています。
私が絵を描く時に一番気になるのは、絵の具の質感です。
ぬるりと艶やかで、こんなに生っぽい画材は他に無いと感じています。
この風景のドローイングシリーズはランダムにカットされた板に日常の風景を、私の好きな絵の具の質感だけを積み重ねて描いています。
絵の具を積み木のように積み上げていく感覚。それは直感的で幼稚な様で、でもしっかりと手と絵がリンクし作品を作り上げていく感覚があります。
