Cow horns also frequently appear in the world of myths and legends. In ancient Greek and ancient Roman mythology, gods are depicted wearing cow horns, and their strength and divinity are talked about. Furthermore, in Hindu culture, cow horns are revered as a sacred symbol and treated as sacred. Cow horns strike people's hearts with their beauty and divinity, and inspire deep respect. Its existence is truly eternal, and it is passed down along with people's faith.

Cows are familiar animals, but if you live in the city, you don't get a chance to see them live. Most people in the world must be indebted to “cows.” Of course, “milk” and “beef” span a wide range of fields, such as farming and transportation. At the same time, there are many breeds of cows around the world. The more I look into it, the more interesting and adorable my eyes (manako) look at me. Also, the “horns,” “coat,” and “pattern” that change from breed to breed are interesting.
Last year, I was covering cows in Hokkaido, and now I want to see even more stylish cows from around the world.

Please take a look at the new “Ushi 🐄” series, which began in 2023. It was a very difficult technique to create a front face, a special feature of drawing techniques. This is because it is my own original technique, and there are no works to serve as an example. It overcame that and became my current work. I made it so that the “eyes” also sparkle. Please look carefully in front of the work and enjoy watching it.

🐃 There is no exhibition of this work, but various similar works will be on display 🐃
